Precision has been in our blood for years.

The Frey & Winkler success story begins back in 1957 when the company was founded by
Emil Winkler and Oswald Frey. To this day it remains in family ownership and employs 130 staff
at a state-of-the-art facility in Königsbach-Stein – spanning around 7,000 sq m. We began by producing decorative elements for spectacles and later moved on to develop our own more
complex products and patent applications for the ophthalmic industry. We started processing silicone as early as 1982. Today we are one of the world’s largest manufacturers of components
for the ophthalmic industry, though other high-tech sectors have also benefited from our experience and knowledge. As a creative problem-solver we not only provide highly skilled engineering services; we can also advise you throughout your entire project. And last but not least, you can
