In the context of expanding cleanroom capacities at the Königsbach-Stein site, Frey & Winkler has also been modernising the cooling system technology, which supplies appropriate cooling not only to the cleanrooms, but also to the production facilities on the shopfloor. In future, this state-of-the-art system will adapt to the respective utilization degree of production, guaranteeing a reliable and energy-saving supply at all times. By using a heat recovery system, the energy can additionally be used for heating premises. The modernization will save approx. 330 tons of CO² emissions per year, which means that Frey & Winkler actively contributes to environmental protection.
