As the management of F&W Frey & Winkler, we would like to clarify our support for the Paris Agreement of 2015 and the associated Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and reaffirm our commitment to climate protection.
The Paris Agreement is a historic milestone in the global fight against climate change. It commits us as a global community to limiting the global temperature increase to well below 2°C, with efforts to limit it to 1.5°C. The NDCs set by the participating countries play a decisive role in realising these goals by defining national climate targets and measures.
As a company, we recognise our responsibility to do our part to mitigate the climate crisis and create a sustainable future. We recognise the urgency of taking action and are committed to continuously reviewing and improving our business practices and processes to reduce our emissions and promote resource efficiency.
We have already taken measures to minimise our environmental impact, such as introducing energy-efficient technologies, using renewable energy, reducing waste and promoting sustainable procurement management. We are proud that our efforts to achieve our own sustainability goals are in conformity with the NDCs of the Paris Agreement.
We are determined to contribute to achieving the global climate goals and bring about positive change in our society and environment. Through our joint efforts, we can create a sustainable future for generations to come.
